Northern Virginia Coalition (NOVACO)                                                                                                               – A program of Shelter House, Inc.

Our Mission is to provide transitional housing, support, and guidance to survivors of domestic abuse. Dedicated to offering tailored support to help clients overcome trauma and gain self-sufficiency, we are located in Fairfax County, serving those who are in need.

With over one million people in our county, domestic violence on the rise, and nonprofit funding reduced, the need for our support continues to grow. Partnering with the County, HUD, and other funders, we’ve been able to successfully grow and expand our program, bit by bit, year over year.

This, combined with the extraordinary support we receive from our sponsor community, creates a model that has enjoyed repeated success.
